      Hyde Street Apartment
San Francisco, CA
Designer: Jeffrey Pena
Winter 2008

In this 300 square foot studio apartment it was important to design spaces that can easily morph to be used for various activities; creating a space that responds to functions oscillating between life and work.

The main living area is furnished by a boutique chair, a Le Corbusier chaise lounge, and a bench whimsically layed out around a small coffee table.

The custom bench was created using medium density fiber board on top of a wood framed podium, padded with seating cushions and backed with black throw pillows. A minimal sleeping loft allows for a comfortable hide way above a small reading area.
