      3 Meter Wide House
Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan
Designer: Tezuka Architects
Spring 2007

While apprentice architect at Tezuka Architects, I had the task of developing new commissions. When faced with a three meter wide site for a family of four, the spatial restrictions led to one obvious response - build tall. This shotgun plan house is open on both ends allowing the maximum cross ventilation and light. The open plan allows the spaces to breathe. The house has separate living, eating, sleeping levels - each floor serving a different purpose.
